1. Acceptance of these terms

By inviting Choc (the “Bot”) to a Discord server, by using any of its commands, or by signing in to its web dashboard, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, remove the Bot from your server and stop using it.

These terms are between you and Threelines (“we”, “us”), the operator of this instance of the Bot. They are in addition to Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines, which you must also follow.

2. What the service is

The Bot is a Discord application providing, among other things:

  • Experience points, levels and role rewards based on server activity
  • Moderation tooling — warnings, timeouts, kicks, bans and a case log
  • Automated moderation of messages against rules a server configures
  • A per-server virtual currency, shop and inventory
  • Audio playback in voice channels
  • Support tickets, giveaways, suggestions, starboards and reaction roles
  • A web dashboard showing server statistics and configuration

Features are enabled and configured per server by that server’s administrators. Not every feature is active everywhere.

3. Eligibility

You must meet Discord’s own minimum age requirement for your country — at least 13 years old, and older where local law requires it. If you are not old enough to use Discord, you may not use the Bot.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Bot to harass, threaten, defame or abuse anyone
  • Use the Bot to distribute malware, spam, or content that is illegal where you or your server members live
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Bot, its database, its host, or another user’s dashboard session
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile or interfere with the Bot’s operation, or attempt to disrupt it through flooding, denial of service, or exploitation of bugs
  • Automate, script or otherwise abuse commands to inflate levels, currency or statistics beyond normal use
  • Resell, sublicense or present the Bot’s services as your own
  • Use the Bot in a way that breaches Discord’s Terms of Service or Developer Policy

If you find a security vulnerability, please report it privately using the contact details in section 15 rather than exploiting it.

5. Server administrator responsibilities

If you add the Bot to a server or configure it, you are responsible for how it is used there. In particular you agree that:

  • You have permission to add the Bot and to configure features that process members’ messages — automated moderation and audit logging in particular.
  • You will tell your members that logging is enabled where your local law requires it, and you will not use logging, ticket transcripts or message snipes to surveil members in ways they would not reasonably expect.
  • You are responsible for the word lists, automod rules, custom commands and autoresponder content you configure, and for any moderation actions taken by your staff through the Bot.
  • Granting the Bot elevated permissions (Administrator, Ban Members, Manage Roles) is your decision, and you accept the consequences of actions your staff take with them.

6. Virtual currency and items

Currency, items, experience points and levels exist only inside the Bot’s database. They have no monetary value, are not property, cannot be exchanged for real money or goods, and carry no warranty of continued existence.

Server administrators can add, remove or reset any member’s balance, items or XP at any time. We may also reset balances to correct bugs, exploits or abuse. No compensation is owed for any loss of virtual items or progress.

7. Paid subscriptions and billing

Some features are gated behind paid plans, shown at /premium and on the dashboard’s Plan page. This section covers the terms of those purchases specifically — it does not apply to the free plan, which section 6 already covers.

How billing works

Paid plans are sold as a fixed period — one month or one year — rather than a silently auto-renewing subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor; we never see or store your card number, and PromptPay payments are authorised directly through your own banking app. Prices are shown in Thai Baht (THB), with a US Dollar figure alongside for reference only — THB is the amount actually charged.

A plan does not renew on its own. When the period you paid for ends, the server returns to the free plan automatically, and you may purchase another period at any time. We do not store payment details to charge you again without your action.

What you get

Paid plans raise the numeric limits shown on the comparison table at the time of purchase — for example, more level-reward roles, more shop items, or a longer statistics history. We do not advertise a paid feature that is not already built and working. If a limit is removed or reduced for future purchases, plans already active at the time keep the terms they were bought under until they expire.

Refunds

Because a plan is granted immediately and in full for the period purchased, payments are non-refundable once the plan has been activated, except where you are entitled to a refund under mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence, or where we made an error in processing your payment. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us using the details in section 15 and we will investigate.

Failed or disputed payments

If a payment cannot be confirmed as successfully paid, no plan is granted and no charge should be applied — check with your bank or card issuer if you believe you were charged without receiving the plan. We reserve the right to revoke a plan and pursue the outstanding amount if a payment is later reversed, charged back, or found to be fraudulent.

Server administrator responsibility

A plan is purchased for a specific server by whoever completes the checkout. We are not responsible for disputes between a server’s administrators, staff or members over who should pay for or benefits from a plan.

8. Music playback

The Bot streams audio from third-party sources at your request. We do not host, own or licence that content. You are responsible for ensuring your use of it complies with the source platform’s terms and with copyright law in your jurisdiction. Third-party sources may rate-limit or block playback at any time, and we do not guarantee that any particular track or source will work.

9. Availability and changes

The Bot is provided on an as-available basis. We may modify, suspend, limit or discontinue any feature at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee any level of uptime, and scheduled or unscheduled downtime may cause loss of queued actions such as reminders, scheduled unbans or running giveaways.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server. We may restrict or terminate access for any server or user that breaches these terms, abuses the service, or places disproportionate load on our infrastructure — normally with notice, but immediately where the conduct is severe.

On termination, stored data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Bot is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Bot will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that its automated moderation will catch every violation or avoid every false positive, or that stored data will never be lost.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, server membership, reputation, virtual currency or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the Bot.

This includes losses caused by moderation actions taken through the Bot, whether performed by your staff or by automated rules you configured. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The “last updated” date at the top will change, and material changes will be announced through the Bot’s support server where one exists. Continuing to use the Bot after a change means you accept the revised terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [your country or state], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

15. Contact
